Giverny Gardens is a 1/2 acre food production and permaculture garden at Onetangi, Waiheke Island and an example of how you can live sustainably and feed your family using organic gardening methods.
Our vision was to design a place of beauty, live as sustainably as possible and to grow our own nutrient dense food as well as to assist others to learn skills related to living more lightly on the earth.
We moved here on May 1 2009 and Gabrielle developed the garden from an overgrown wilderness and now harvests all her families vegetables from the gardens.
We also arrange and run courses broadly related to sustainable living, community development and environmental issues.
